Research impact assessment
The Libraries support responsible use of assessment activities using bibliometric measures for annual accreditation reporting, strategic planning and award competition.
We endeavor to participate in national conversations and activities that promote institutional commitment to initiatives such as DORA, Leiden Manifesto and CoARA. This commitment was captured with a jointly-authored report by the University and its faculty association.

A key part of this ecosystem is persistent identifiers (PIDs). Learn about the different types of identifiers and specifically ORCID, the open researcher identifiers and how they offer new considerations of impact.Assessment using Scopus and SciVal
