Non-profit organizations and Desautels Faculty of Music students are eligible for a discount. Please contact the Operations Administrator for more information.

Technical Assistance
Rental rates do not include technicians.
- A minimum of one technician is required for each event.
- Additional technicians are charged at $50 per hour.
- Technician requirements will be determined based on the event’s needs.
- A Front of House Manager is required when the hall is open to the public and is charged at $30 per hour.
Labour exceeding 7 hours per day or performed on a statutory holiday is charged at 2x the base hourly rate.

Seating and Capacity
The Desautels Concert Hall offers intimate audience seating for 407 guests. Seats can be removed to accommodate accessible seating.
The hall’s flexible design can be configured three ways. The Full Stage accommodates ensembles of up to 96 musicians performing acoustic music with little or no amplification. The Half Stage suits lectures, concerts, jazz ensembles, chamber groups and vocal recitals. The Theatre configuration, with wings, is ideal for opera, dance and music that requires light amplification.
