Course descriptions indicate what prerequisites or corequisites must be met in order to enrol in that course.
Where a course description identifies another course as a prerequisite it means that you must first complete the prerequisite course. Aurora Student will let you register in courses requiring prerequisites even though your grades from the prerequisite courses are not known at the time of registration; for example, you can register for a Winter term course that has a prerequisite you are taking in Fall term. If a prerequisite is not successfully completed, you may be responsible for withdrawing from any course or courses requiring that prerequisite, and for any fees owing.
Where a course description identifies another course as a corequisite it means that you must enrol in both courses at the same time if you have not already completed the corequisite course previously.
