Research
Professor Trottier teaches and conducts research initiatives in the areas of urban design and public space design. He maintains a significant practice in community development. He is Past-Chair of the Winnipeg’s Downtown Urban Design Advisory Committee, of the Editorial Board of Landscapes | Paysages Magazine, and currently serves on the Canadian Landscape Architecture Accreditation Council and the Board of the Council for Canadian Urbanism. He received the CSLA’s Schwabenbauer President’s Award for his contributions to the profession.
