The Centre's staff members are committed to providing leadership and expertise to further the mission of teaching and learning at the University of Manitoba. The Centre reports to Dr. Mark G. Torchia, Vice-Provost (Learning, Analytics, and Academic Infrastructure).

Operations and Communications Team

The Operations and Communications Team provides day-to-day operational and communications support across The Centre. The team manages requests and concerns related to logistics, workshops and event coordination, vendor and contract management, budget and project management, human resources, payroll processing, and building maintenance, while also supporting internal and external communications, content coordination, and knowledge sharing to ensure smooth, connected operations across The Centre.

Curriculum and Teaching Development Portfolio

The Curriculum and Teaching Development Portfolio provides support, to all teaching faculty, instructors and graduate students, in areas such as teaching consultations, classroom observations and course/curriculum development, as well as through teaching workshops and certificate programs.

Teaching Initiatives and Innovation Team

Data, Evaluation, and Higher Education Research Portfolio

The Data, Evaluation, and Higher Education Research Portfolio works to fulfill The Centre’s mandate as it relates to research, program evaluation and quality assurance. This portfolio supports inquiries into higher education teaching and learning and generates evidence to promote the design and delivery of high-quality educational experiences.

Technology-Enhanced Learning Portfolio

The Technology-Enhanced Learning Portfolio of The Centre provides the Digital Learning Environment—UM Learn—to the UM community, offers Digital Media services, and Instructional Design consultation.
