Profile

Carolyn Geddert is a professional engineer with experience in the automotive and HVAC sectors. Carolyn began her engineering career as an industrial engineer with E.H. Price Ltd., a Winnipeg-based architectural products manufacturer, during a time of significant company growth and expansion of manufacturing facilities in Canada and internationally. Subsequently, Carolyn entered automotive industry as a Process Engineer at Phillips and Temro Industries, where she supported the fabrication of cold weather starting products for the automotive/ heavy duty truck industries and the production of industrial silencers. She was responsible for the quality management system implementation as well as internal audit for both quality and environmental management systems for automotive part manufacturing and industrial silencer facilities in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Minneapolis, Minnesota.

As an engineer-in-residence, Carolyn Geddert:

  • Leads the Engineering Co-operative Education and Industrial Internship Program (Co-op/IIP) as its Director
  • Co-instructs the preliminary year engineering design course taken by all engineering students
