  • profiles of older adult populations, examining demographics and trends
  • why older adults use substances or gamble
  • consequences and facts of older adults and use, co-occurring disorders, and issues with older adults and gambling
  • screening, assessment, and treatment approaches for older persons, including harm reduction strategies
  • issues and strengths in caregiving of older adults
  • elder abuse and the types that may occur
