The Prosthodontic Clinic provides advanced restorative, esthetic and implant care to their patients. Patients treated in the Graduate Prosthodontic Program are treated by graduated dentists. They have all completed a minimum of 4 years of general dentistry training and many have practiced for several years before coming to take our program. The goal of the program is to train dentists to provide the most optimal advanced care for patients.
Patients can call the clinic at 204-789-3608 to book a screening appointment.
It is helpful if the patient health care profession (dentist or physician) makes a referral indicating the patient’s needs. Any previous X-rays that the patient may have would be useful to have at the screening appointment - those can be emailed to Prostho.Clinic@umanitoba.ca.
The College of Dentistry fees for service are significantly lower (up to 50%) of the Manitoba Dental Association Specialty Fee Guide.
Fees are dependent on the procedure performed.
** All fees in the College are subject to change **
Patients are responsible to pay for their treatment after each appointment. If you have dental insurance coverage, our clinic staff will process the dental insurance forms on your behalf and you will later will be reimbursed by your dental insurance.
We accept cash, direct debit, credit cards.
For extensive treatment, such as carried out in the Orthodontic and Prosthodontic Clinics, payment can be arranged to be made over a period-of-time in conjunction with treatment to be fully paid when treatment is completed.
Our patients have access to general dental services provided by dental students in training. We offer affordable dental care to the public and welcome new patients.
